Vivek Ramaswamy: Pete Buttigieg With No Balls.

                   Vivek Ramaswamy

                       Pete Buttigieg

Vivek Ramaswamy and Pete Buttigieg have a few things in common; they're young, energetic, brilliant rising stars in American politics. They have amazing ideas for both the future of their parties and the country and every reasonable person can, at least, take a second look at their ideas and not dismiss it out of hand. They both have very difficult to pronounce last names and very soon, will be called "former Presidential candidate". They have each decided to travel through one of the two main routes to the peak of American politics; public service and business and arguably very successful at their chosen fields and that is where the differences start.

To succeed in America, or at least, to fit within the Cinderella story of the romanticized American dream, you must either be a child of an immigrant and work your way to the top or like the Republicans will say "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" which Vivek Ramaswamy has done brilliantly or come from a small town, study very hard, get a scholarship to an elite college and when you finally get that shiny degree, ditch the cooperate world for public service, a feat Secretary Pete has done to the T. In Pre-Trump America, the lives of these two young men would be made into Hollywood blockbusters. Gone are those days though.

While both secretary Pete and Mr. Ramaswamy have enormous similarities and both eye the pinnacle of American politics, their differences couldn't be more stark. When then Mayor Pete was a presidential candidate in 2020, He was not afraid to define His lane, while sticking to more traditional Democratic party values, He was very outspoken about His ideas but not too crazy to the left to try and appear "cool" or "woke". He was unmistakenly Mayor Pete and when it was time to take on the powers that were in His party, Mayor Pete did not hold back. Although, he continued to conduct himself in very professional and respectful fashion. Mr. Ramaswamy, on the other hand, has chosen to sacrifice His ideals and personal respect to be Donald Trump's lap dog. How sad.

There is nothing in this world more painful than watching a brilliant mind try and defend Donald Trump. You can almost see the pain their brains feel as they try and shut down every last cell in there and spit trash. Vivek Ramaswamy is brilliant, articulate and very composed until you start asking him about Trump and He becomes a younger version of Rudy Giuliani in front of a porn shop. Embarrassing.

Vivek can be the voice of the Republican party, going forward but that is not going to happen by pandering the worst instincts of Trump or His MAGA base. A great leader, in my opinion, is supposed to be tough, challenge His party and country when they're wrong on issues and voice educated opinions even if they don't appear popular, at first. You seek converts, not pander!

Vivek Ramaswamy can take a page out of the Buttigieg 2020 campaign. Mayor Pete was not afraid to call out the status quo in His own party, He challenged the leading candidate and did not move too far to the left, instead, he stayed right in the centre and even got an attack ad from Joe Biden's campaign. That is how you know you're making a mark! If Vivek continues His campaign like this, not only will He not get an attack ad, from Trump, His TV hits will soon be chopped and turned in a pro-Trump campaign ad because He sounds more like a Trump surrogate than rival.

Here's my charge to Vivek Ramaswamy, if you want to change the world, define your principles and stand on it! America and indeed, the world, need a strong American leadership. The old guards have held the reigns of power for too and it's time to give it up but nobody relinquish power easily, it must be wrestled from them. While I may not be a member of a D.C political think-tank, I know one thing for sure, nobody is voting for Vivek Ramaswamy because He licked Donald Trump's ass!
Obviously, I am not advocating for a street brawl, name calling type of juvenile politics, Julian Castro tried it in 2020, it did not work out well. If you're wondering who Julian Castro is, that's my point!

What I am advocating for is the tried and tested style of politics where elections are won and lost in the marketplace of ideas. Where aspiring leaders sell original plans and policy proposals to the people and we can all go to bed at night saying "may the best man win"! Unfortunately, the last time America was close to that was 2012!

I envision an America where we can have a Vivek Ramaswamy vs. Pete Buttigieg on the ballot, the debates will be wholesome, the ideas will be brilliant and forward looking and maybe, no one will be protesting violently in the streets day after elections.

God bless America!
