Zuckerberg vs. Musk fight; may the worse man win.

I usually don't have a lot of pity for multi billionaires. Obviously, I don't wish them any bodily harm but, if a billionaire, by their own shere stupidity or lack of boundaries suffer financial casualties, I won't lose sleep. I really don't care, to be fair and my reasons are plenty. First, a billionaire wouldn't bat an eye to milk the regular Joe, they will increase the cost of badly needed drugs without thinking twice, will fire a million people in one fell swoop if it will save them a couple bucks and there's no hurdle to high if it means a few thousand dollars in tax break so, why should I feel bad if they lose a bit of that power (read: money) they hold so dear?

Ultra rich and powerful people have been flexing muscles since Adam and often, they hire the average guy to do their dirty works and more often than not, take the fall when it comes to it. The latest phase in these series of ass-holery is Meta's Mark Zuckerberg and Tesla's Elon Musk, first, threatening to square up in a boxing ring and now, it seem they may meet in court first. Musk accuses Zuckerberg of stealing trade secrets from his recently acquired social media platform, Twitter and has threatened legal action.

If you read the letter which allegedly originated from Twitter and addressed to Meta, you may be tempted to fill some pity for Elon Musk but a quick and very short trip down memory lane will quickly fix whatever emotions you felt for the man as you would quickly come to the conclusion - Elon Musk brought this on himself. He didn't have to buy Twitter, and at double it's original worth for that matter but his ego just wouldn't leave him alone, second, he fired the workers he now accuse of taking his business secrets to Meta.

A quote credited to another egoistic billionaire, Bill Gates, says "if you don't want me to use the information against you, don't tell me". Mark Zuckerberg has demonstrated over and again he doesn't care about anyone, not the sanctity of democracy and elections across the world, not the mental health of children and teenagers and most definitely not Elon Musk, as long as the dollars keep rolling in.

Don't, for a second, think I favour Zuckerberg in this fight either, honestly, I hope they fight to death and their companies get broken up like Teddy Roosevelt did to the egoistic maniacs of his time, several centuries ago.

Whatever happens, in the court of law or in a boxing ring at the colosseum, may the worst man win and may both of them emerge with a bloodied nose.
