Will The Real Conservatives Please Stand?



"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"
When Donald Trump made the statement above, most people assumed He was talking about His loyal "MAGA" base, the rednecks, Q-Anon loyalists and conspiracy theory believing cultists but no, he wasn't talking about those ones. Those guys make up only half of the basket of deplorables.

The people He meant are Harvard trained, 2-piece suit wearing, Reagan conservatives who have spent their lives cultivating the perfect image of who a Christian, right wing politician should be. The men and women who know better and you usually expect to do better but always find a reason to disappoint.

The latest installment of "how low can Donald Trump sink?" dropped with his indictment by a grand jury in New York. 

Donald Trump, through His former personal lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen paid a pornstar $130,000 to buy her silence and may have broken the law in the process. Every word in that sentence would annoy all republican politicians before 2015 but since Donald Trump has remodelled the party in his image, the formerly known law and order, family value party is now down for anything the Don says. How sad.

The GOP needs to rescue itself from Trump if that means losing a couple of elections, so be it. Every society needs a balance of liberal and conservative ideas to thrive but the present conservative party in the United States is not sustainable. 
Donald Trump is the kind of threat the founding fathers feared could come from within to threaten America. Well bred conservatives must stop bowing to the man and rid themselves of His stench.

You may be wondering where I got the title from, well, it was inspired by American politics. When Donald J. Trump unexpectedly won the November 2016 presidential election in that country, many people who were taken unaware started traveling round the country to find out what made so many of their fellow country men and women fall for such a shallow con man and they found a bunch of voters who voted for Barack Obama 8 years earlier but switched parties and ideologies and voted for Trump. They were called the "Obama - Trump voters". My Life Is A Privilege.

I spend the vast majority of my time alone so I have a lot of thoughts. Many times, I wonder if people unborn have access to those of us down here and what their thoughts are. I imagine an unborn looking down at a person on earth and wondering how much of a "screw up" they are. I think of them musing to themselves how well their lives would be if they had our talents, opportunities and privileges. How successful they will be if presented with a similar chance to try out as human beings. Sometimes, I wonder if they go up to God and beg for a chance to be born; "just give me half of the privilege this guy have and see how much impact I'd make" I imagine they say to the Almighty.
